Who We are and What We Do

The Westminster Foundation is a not-for-profit organization charged with supporting Presbyterian Campus Ministry at state colleges and universities throughout West Virginia. We serve over 30,000 students annually on the campuses of West Virginia University, Marshall University, West Liberty University, Fairmont State University, WVU Tech, West Virginia State University, Concord University, and Pierpont Community and Technical College by providing salaries or programming funds for campus ministries at these institutions. We also have a collaborative partnership with Davis & Elkins College, a Presbyterian affiliated college in Elkins, WV.

OUR MISSION

The mission of the Westminster Foundation of West Virginia is to:

Provide or support faith communities for college and university students on or near campuses in West Virginia;
Help congregations fulfill their baptismal covenant with college and university students;
Give witness on campuses to the Christian faith grounded in the Reformed tradition, while respecting and building ecumenical and interfaith relationships
